Rollin', chompers, travels, parties

Wow, I do apologize, it's definitely overdue for an update! We've been quite the busy crew over the last two months. The boys are becoming ever so mobile which I'm sure is only going to get worse and require a lot of "watching". Two recent incidences happened that are great examples of you just can't leave them alone: went out to the kitchen REAL quick and Landon was leaning over half way out of his kicking chair, crying. As soon as he saw me he started laughing..geez. Then Grant was maneuvering around in a circle to end up at the cable box reaching up and trying to press the buttons! Either he didn't like what was on tv or he's following in his dad's engineering footsteps!

After the beach it took about another week to unpack and we also upped the solid feedings to a total of 3 meals a day. I finally started feeding them at the same time, propped in their carseats, one spoon, one jar and a matter of minutes. The boys WILL eat anything and get mad if you're not quick! Thankfully I'm ambidextrous!
Here they are enjoying their first "biscuit".

We have gotten a little bit more adventurous and started traveling more with the boys. Had a playdate at Luann's for their first "pool" experience and you can tell by the pics who liked it and who didnt:/

Took the boys to Buffalo to see some extended family for the first time. The boys, once again were troopers and did very well!

Ten months & eleven months has come and gone....still squeezing them in the cupcake hats!
Doing much better with head control...working on sitting up unattended.

Landon AND Grant are now rolling from back to tummy and back again....all over the living room!

Loving bath time in big boy chairs! Thanks Ron & Marie for letting us borrow these!:)

Landon, developing his "ham" personality. Every time I get the camera out, he's vying for attention.

Had to wear a patriotic outfit for their passport shots!

Fall Festival in Oneonta was a hit. Landon loved the alpacas, to him they're just big cats! Even ran into Aunt Ame's old coworker who recently moved to Oneonta. Small world!

Both boys officially have teeth. Count is Landon six, Grant two!
Thanks Jame for this crazy FANG shot. Grant, unfortunately will not let me open his mouth big enough to see his rabbit chompers.

Went for a walk in their "big boy" seats for the stroller and had an end of the summer bash. It was great getting to spend time with fellow preemies Natty and Della. The weather was perfect and the food was great!

Can you believe that the four of these babies put together at birth didn't weigh 8 lbs and now a year later they're over 70! Truly is a miracle:)

I know it looks like Grant isn't enjoying himself; he was sleepy and insisted that we kept pushing him. Every time he'd fall asleep and his little legs would start kicking if the swing stopped.

First haircut last weekend, sigh. I was dreading this....really trying to hold on to making Landon's hair long. They did great though and Grant slept through his "trim".

Brought some donuts for Ron & Marie but apparently Della wasn't going to pass these by! So cute.

Where's my donuts??

Grant really will sleep through anything. Gotta be from his NICU background!

What the??

Grant: "Oh, just a trim? Sure"

The up and coming Binghamton Preemie Barber! Thanks Ron!

Last weekend was a blast filled with lots of love from family and friends in Ithaca and their "first" 1st Bday party. So thankful to have such caring people in our lives:)

Thanks LuAnn for letting us borrow the hot dog maker! Fit the theme perfectly!:)
