CHEERIOS!

This past week we've moved up to two solid feedings a day which has been going really well except for the fact that we have to change Grant's diaper twice the normal amount per day!

Hanging out at the beach house in the morning.

Recent shots with Grandpa Siegrist and 3 generations at the beach!

Yesterday was their first finger food experiment with Cheerios. Both were willing to try but not really sure about the texture. Landon seemed to like them a little more than Grant.

We've been "patiently" waiting for their bottom teeth to break through. In the meantime they've been chewing away on their pacifiers, toys, and fingers.

Grant's new trick....not really sure how he manages to get the tab in his mouth and hold it in!

What we've been up to....

We're starting to get a little more adventurous in our travels with the boys. Headed to Ithaca a couple of weeks ago to hit the Ithaca Brewery and have dinner at the Boatyard Grill. It was a successful trip even if Landon didn't care for the girl in the Ithaca Brewery and the annoying fireworks that went off without warning at the end of our meal forcing Aunt Jamie to book it with both boys to the car.

Met up with Kathy and Natty at the park for the boys first outdoor swing rides and some play time. Definitely want to go back in the near future so we can try out the carousal and pool as well.

We've hit the NINE month mark and both boys are over 17lbs!!! Landon is up to 17lb10oz and Grant for the first time ever, weighs MORE at 17lbs12 oz! We're so thankful at how healthy and happy they are!

Currently down at the Jersey Shore aka LBI. The boys are enjoying their time with extended family and getting a taste of beach life.

Ready to go! This is how they reacted when I said we were on our way to the beach!:)

First trip to the shore.....Landon isn't too sure and Grant is mesmerized by the flag waving in the breeze.

The Shute/Siegrist Clan

First trip to the beach. Grant was curious with his new surroundings. It was a bit too much for Landon at first but he quickly settled in and both seemed to really enjoy splashing in the pool.

First official family beach photo

Landon's eyes were a little too sensitive for the sun but Grant wanted to show everyone his gorgeous blues.

All in all, left with sandy toes......

Summertime=adventure

We've experienced some more exciting FIRSTS the last couple of weeks.
Natty & Della came over for our first playdate! They loved using the jumpers (don't tell Landon & Grant; they were still too short to use them at the time but have since grown an inch!) It's truly amazing that we had four little miracles all in the same room and it wasn't a NICU!! I hope they grow up to be good friends.

Took our first trip out to Grandma and Grandpa Siegrist's house in Oneonta to journey on our first Volksmarch in Cooperstown. Turned out to be a great day, enjoyed lunch at McCooley's (1st bar!)boys were PERFECT, no peeps whatsoever on the 6 mile walk even through the sunshine and sweaty backs.

Grant was interested in lunch....Landon wanted to take a snooze.

Headed to the Siegrist house in NJ for the 4th. Another successful car ride. Had to stay inside though due to the EXTREME heat and enjoy the air conditioning. Grant slept for four hours that afternoon! Hit up the outlets in the Poconos on the way back home to buy some BIGGER clothes...never thought I'd see 12 month sizes!

Happy boys!!

Hanging out at Barley Creek Brewing Company. Drooling for beer?

Landon is officially a ROLLER! He's getting more proficient every time even with his big noggen'.

Grant-What?? You can do this now too??

Fingers in

 ....and up.

The boys are also starting to notice each other more and are having fun exploring a person their size;)
