This is how we roll

Grant is officially ROLLIN'!!! It's been about a week of slowly inching his way over on his side, to swinging his chubby leg over to bam...completely over TWICE this morning. Of course he had to do it when I was feeding Landon and I  had to get up both times to help him back on his back. Landon isn't too far behind as he starting rolling on his side this weekend as well. I guess it's time to baby proof the house! Can't IMAGINE what it's going to be like when I have two movers.....

Both boys are now over SIXTEEN pounds!! Well, with clothes on;) We've also made it to 8 months this weekend! I was able to manage getting their own bday shots before they spit up prune juice all over their white onesies and ruined it for their shot together....

Had a great weekend with Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Geo. They helped us out sooooo much with yard work!

Enjoyed a nice 1st Father's Day with a win from the Yankees and Bri being pampered all day! He's an AMAZING daddy!:)

We've moved on from sweet potatoes and tried carrots, peas, peaches, and squash. Here's some facing when I introduced peaches to Landon...he was cracking up hysterically!!

Whole bunch of firsts.....

First road trip:
Ventured out of seclusion last month for our first road trip, and out of state at that! Headed to Great Aunt Ame & Mike's house for the weekend. Turned out to be a success. Boys were very good both car rides and enjoyed receiving all the love from new family and friends.

Grant & Landon all ready to go!

Grant got all the cuddling when he first arrived while Landon was content sitting with daddy watching the Yankee's game.

Evidence of lots of cuddling while the parents were enjoying a Yankees game! Thanks Claire!

First solo walk with mommy:
Decided to try out a trip by myself. Made it almost 3 miles, even through a few sprinkles and not being able to figure out how the stroller closed after the walk. Thank goodness Bri answered his phone, I'm sure I would have been sitting there forever otherwise!

First cold:
Well, we've managed to make it to seven months before they got their first sniffle. Not fun seeing your babies coughing constantly and needing their nose syringed all day long:( Headed to the doctor's just to make sure it wasn't more than a common cold and phew....lungs sound good. He called them little brusiers and thought they looked great! We've also hit the 15lb club with Landon at 15lb11oz and Grant at 15lb1oz!! (I secertly wanted to go to the Dr.to see how much they weighed anyway)

Grant sooo excited he's a big kahuna now! Landon......"huh???? Grant's catching up???"

Grant & Landon resting their colds away.

Such typical faces.....

First trip to a public place:
PANERA!! Well, of course it being one of my FAV resturants and since we didn't have to wait to order/waitresses, etc. We thought it would be a good place to start. Boys did great, even though Daddy had to entertain them back and forth while we ate. Next stop...ice cream!

Here's a few shots from the last couple of weekends....

Aunt Jame & Grant being oh so photogenic

NEVER did I think I'd see Bri wearing this.......Landon loved the tour around the yard!!!

Uncle Ernie & cousin Max stopped by to meet the babes on their way back to Md.

Landon after a Yankees loss??

First Solids:
Since it's been a month or so since we introduced cereal we figured it's probably time for some "real" food. I'd have to say it's been a hit so far as both boys are lovin' sweet potatoes!

Landon was up first and wanted more and more.....

Washing it down with some milk.
Grant with a what the heck is this contraption look...

and doing the I want more dance!!
